and so i finally get into the mood to blog my 2 weeks of junk?..xD cos im just simply too tired to blog about it. Lets start from the basic shall we?..=P
12th of September - 17th of September.
Yes the date which started my nightmare in CGS. MOE's VPN rollout. well VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. but i dun like it so i changed it to Very Problematic Network. Lets just say its really a pain in the ass. Early in the morning the guys from HP came down to start on the VPN rollout. Now you see, government agencies are really cranked up. Firstly they din warn us early enough, secondly they din really bother to send us instructions on what to do, what to prepare etc. I cant blame them. its somehow their culture of doing things. xD
You see, all the teachers now have a USB token which is unique to them. This little token can store all the passwords that the user uses regardless of MOE applications or non-MOE applications. This token is also the key to connect to the MOE intranet in the near future. which means, without this key they cant work. tsktsk`
Best of all, the school is having prelims. yeah right. VERY COINCIDENCE sia. CGS was not originally in the 1st phase of this pilot project. but somehow it was part of it. We had alot of problems such as discrepancy of teachers list, able to print thru VPN etc. MOE should be the one who is deciding to give WHO the token and NOT the school or us. cos you see they only said "ALL MOE EMPLOYED STAFF WHO WILL ACCESS MOE APPLICATIONS" will be taking the token. Does that includes the attendants also? They also got access one MOE application. Obviously they never thought of that. How about the clerks who dun use a PC? How about the Lab staffs? They din say anything. and yes im complaining out here. xD COS THEY ARE JUST SIMPLY MAKING OUR LIVES SO DAMN DIFFICULT LAH!. The people there always dun think from a user POV. they only think "ah this shall be the way. i want it this way. and so be it." crap lah. How i wish such incompetency was address to the minister.
And so, the guys from HP went around installing the applications on the teacher's notebooks and tablets. Chee keong helped them out most of the time as i was in the school running around attending to other emergencies in school. LOL. Out of sudden alot of things pop out to do. At times im wondering why the hell am i so busy?. NO OT pay no pay increment. HA. oh ya. due to this rollout, all of us worked totally overtime. at least 10 hours a day. I have been going to school on sats for 4 consecutive weeks already. have been going home and at times slept from 8 pm till the next day. The mental stress is too high. Beginning to have headaches again. LOL. thus need the baby sleep. HAHA. This stupid rollout even affects my mood in playing ID. =.= I felt so agitated when playing ID..like im venting all my discontentment on the game itself. zzzz. I WANT TO CHANGE JOB!! I WANT HIGHER PAY!! xD
I seriously felt that we are totally underpayed. Like what Sherman had said before, me and cheekeong are like monkeys taking peanuts as pay. sigh. I bet TAs from other school's are so much better and free-er than us. considering they have the time to go forum post and complain. LOL!
19th to 24th September
This week not really relaxing too. Monday itself all of us preparing the labs for tuesday's MOE survey on the Quality of School Environment. wth lah. need 42 pcs per lab. =_=" which in fact we only have max 41 pcs and not considering those which are down. =P the students who took it all said "LAME!" haha. lol. they allocated 1 hr per session but they all finished in like 10 mins. tsktsk` This survey makes me go to school at 7 am to set up the lab. Even I am earlier than the teachers lor. When i drove the school the time, the car park is EMPTY sia. tsktsk`
you are always my remedy to my unhappiness. =)
This week is also mentally very tired. go back home koon till next day. WOAH. tired tired tired. The chee keong on 3 days MC. zzz. One man show sia. Wish i could learn ninjitsu so that i can split myself up. HAHAHAHA. =D
I will be waiting to see you again....I suddenly dun feel like blogging liao. so that shall be it. HAHA. xD
